Welcome to the Eagle Academy for the Young Men of Harlem’s website!

As you navigate the pages on this site, please keep two words in mind: Brotherhood and Growth. As a school we are working diligently to offer a rigorous and enriching learning experience for our young men.  Presently, our academic offerings for students range from traditional college level classes, Advanced Placement courses to our Middle School Honors/ high School level courses.

As we embrace this idea of reimagining the Eagle Harlem Renaissance, we have placed emphasis on the arts, outside internships, and career readiness classes.  As a school we work tirelessly to provide our young men opportunities to develop and pursue their passions both inside and outside the classroom. Using well-researched curricula that has been tailored to be culturally responsive, uplifting and highlight the strength of our young men to remind them of the shoulders of cultural giants that support them.   Academically we offer our students interdisciplinary projects to support skills in asking questions, seeking answers, evaluating information, and reflecting on one’s work. We believe students should actively construct their understanding of the world by relating it to what they already know.

Eagle Harlem’s mission is to give our young men the required academic and character development necessary to become a Globally Conscious, Globally Competitive Eagle Scholar.  At Eagle Harlem we are committed to taking shared responsibility for every young man and take seriously the need to offer a safe, supportive, and nurturing school environment.

Eagle Academy Harlem’s students have not only done well academically but have excelled in the various co- curricular activities that we offer. Our students participate in our excellent campus-wide athletic programs that have produced fine scholar athletes over the years that have taken their talents to become outstanding collegiate scholar athletes.

Providing our young men with a shared experience that creates lasting memories and a brotherhood that transcends their time in secondary school.  To that end, as a school, we have so much to offer, and I am excited to share everything that makes Eagle Harlem a SPECIAL learning environment.
